Assisting self funded employers (500-15,000 employees) to develop the expertise to implement innovative cost containment and productivity improvement strategies using health risk management principles. These action plans include identification of health risks, creative use of incentives, and interventions such as Health Risk Assessment’s and Chronic Care Centers.

Partnering with health plans to develop “fully-insured” risk pools for their employer clients in the 51-500 employee size to make health care coverage more affordable to them, provided they engage in aggressive health risk management efforts. These risk pools allow fully insured employers to operate their health benefit programs as if they were self funded.

Working with selected hospital systems or physician group leaders to develop “Chronic Care Centers” to be utilized by multiple employers within a geographic region. Some 70%-80% of employers’ healthcare dollars are spent on employees and dependents who have one or more chronic conditions. It is obvious that a reduction in chronic conditions will generate significant return for the employer.
